Working out the right signs for your needs can be a complex process. To make it easy we will guide you through the sign design, production and installation process, which can vary depending on the project's specific requirements. However, here are some basic steps typically involved in the process:

  • Initial Consultation: This involves meeting with the client to discuss their requirements, including the type of sign needed, its purpose, size, design preferences, budget, and timeline.
  • Material Selection: Choose the appropriate materials for the sign based on any engineering requirements, strength, durability, location, visibility, colour and budget.
  • Estimate Creation: Once we have worked out what type of sign, the correct materials, sizes and installation requirements we will prepare an estimate for you. Once the estimate is approved by the client it will then become a live job and move onto the design phase.
  • Design Phase:
    • Concept Development: Designers create initial concepts based on the client's requirements.
    • Revision Rounds: Client feedback is gathered, and revisions are made to the design until it meets their expectations.
    • Final Approval: Once the design is finalized, the client approves it for production.
  • Production Planning: This involves planning out the production process, including scheduling, material ordering, resource allocation, and logistics.
  • Sign Fabrication:
    • Printing/Graphics: Graphics or text are printed and prepared for mounting or installation.
    • Cutting and Shaping: Materials are cut, shaped and prepared according to the approved design.
    • Manufacturing: Individual components are sourced or manufactured to the specifications required.
    • Assembly: Materials, graphics and components of the sign are assembled.
  • Quality Control: Inspect the sign to meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Installation Preparation: Coordinate with the client regarding installation logistics, such as site preparation and scheduling.
  • Sign Installation: Physically install the sign at the designated location, ensuring proper placement and alignment.
  • Final Inspection: After installation, the sign is inspected and tested to ensure it functions correctly and to verify its appearance, strength and quality.
  • Client Acceptance: We ask for client approval and sign-off confirming satisfaction with the completed sign.
  • Documentation and Billing: Think Big will complete any required documentation, such as invoices, contracts, and warranty information, and finalise billing for the project.
  • Maintenance and Support: We can provide any necessary maintenance instructions or support to the client to ensure the ongoing performance and longevity of the sign.
  • Follow-Up: We will follow up with the client to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the sign and address any additional needs or concerns they may have.
